Thus, there are 2 conditions when MTPL for a trailer and the corresponding mark in the policy are not needed:
- if your car is a passenger car,
- if you are not a legal entity.
For truck
But for trailers for cargo vehicles, you need a note in the insurance policy about the use of the trailer. We are talking about the following cars:
- trucks where the trailer is docked with the tractor,
- trucks with a permissible maximum weight of more than 3.5 tons,
- since the definition of a truck is not given either in the law On Compulsory Motor Liability Insurance or in other regulations, this essentially includes Gazelles and similar vehicles - that is, a mark is required for them.
