Nuances

There are a number of nuances that should be taken into account when writing a statement of complaint against a traffic police officer. It is better to create a printed document. This will allow you to correct errors and make it possible to avoid problems with reading the document that may arise due to illegible handwriting.

You cannot hang offensive labels on a person who has committed a violation. Thus, the use of the term “bribe-taker” is unacceptable. In another situation, a counterclaim may be filed against the applicant demanding liability for insult.

If there are witnesses, you need to formally involve them in the case. Passengers can also play this role, but only if they are not relatives of the driver.

If there is no opportunity to present documentary evidence, during the trial it is allowed to file a motion to obtain evidence. The applicant must indicate the fact that it is impossible to present them in person and indicate the government authorities that can do this.

Additionally, cases in which a response to the application is not given are indicated.
  4. List of government agencies and officials who have the right to consider the applicant’s complaint.

Fine for failure to register a car

  1. For individuals – the amount ranges from 1500 to 2000 rubles.
  2. For legal entities persons – set in an amount from 5,000 to 10,000 rubles.
  3. For officials, the fine ranges from 2,000 to 3,500 rubles.

Note. The legislation establishes a special clause - a fine for driving an unregistered vehicle. If the vehicle is stopped and it is discovered that the vehicle was being driven without registration documents, the driver will be issued a fine in the amount of 500 to 800 rubles. If a driver is detained again with a similar violation, the fine will be 5,000 rubles. If you refuse to pay the fine, the driver may be deprived of his driving privileges for up to 3 months.

Why is an application necessary?

First, let's look at why you may need an application to the traffic police. In many cases, drivers make formal statements when communicating with traffic police officers.

In the case of an oral application, the refusal to issue will also be given to the driver orally. As a rule, citizens are not satisfied with refusals and they try to challenge them with higher-ranking officials in the traffic police or write complaints to the prosecutor's office. But this requires at least some evidence, and in the case of oral appeal there is none.

So, first of all, the driver himself needs a written statement, because... in case of refusal, it will serve as written confirmation of the fact of application to the traffic police. Accordingly, it can subsequently be used when contacting higher authorities.
