Category A license: at what age and how to get it
Type of rights “A” implies two categories:

Subcategory C1E
The mass of such transport must be no less than 3.5 and no more than 7.5 tons. The trailer must have a mass exceeding the threshold of 750 kilograms and the weight of the vehicle itself.
The main aspect is that the total weight of the car together with the trailer should not exceed 12 tons. Vehicles from this category can be used by citizens with a “CE” license.
Category D: buses
Subcategory DE
All vehicles from category “D1” with a trailer are included, if the weight of the latter is from 750 kg to 3.5 tons. Also, articulated buses are equated to this category.
Subcategory D1
Transport focused on transporting citizens and having more than eight passenger seats and, but not more than sixteen. A trailer with a mass not exceeding 750 kilograms may be present.
Subcategory D1E
This type of license includes all vehicles with a trailer and weighing less than 750 kilograms. The mass of the car itself should be within twelve tons.
The trailer must not be intended to carry passengers. If the DE type is present on the driver’s license, this subtype becomes available automatically.
Category M
Allows you to control vehicles with a small engine volume, that is, less than 50 cubic centimeters. This includes mopeds and ATVs.
Category Tm and Tb
“Tm” and “Tb” are types of driver’s licenses for driving trams and trolleybuses. Previously, these categories were not separated until separate columns were used in the ID.
