A significant part of them is devoted to the conditions of transportation of children of different ages in vehicles.

For officials

Let's assume that the child is transported in a taxi that is officially registered with a transport company. And if the driver violated the procedure for transporting children, then a fine of 25,000 rubles may be imposed on the top management of the company.

For legal entities

Enterprises that own vehicles can also be punished for improperly transporting children. For them, the Code of Administrative Offenses establishes sanctions in the amount of 100 thousand rubles.

If the child is left alone in the car

According to the new requirements, you cannot leave a child under 7 years of age in a stationary car.

Someone of age must be with him.

Otherwise, the driver will be fined 500 rubles.

Points of the Rules of the Road

The rules for transporting people are described in Chapter 22 of the Rules. Children are mentioned in clause 22.2 - transportation in the back, clause 22.6 - organized transportation of children and clause 22.9 - special requirements for the transportation of children. 22.2. Transporting people in the back of a flatbed truck is permitted if it is equipped in accordance with the Basic Provisions, but transporting children is not permitted.

22.6. Organized transportation of a group of children must be carried out in accordance with these Rules, as well as the rules approved by the Government of the Russian Federation, on a bus marked with identification marks “Transportation of Children”.

The organized transportation of a group of children, in addition to the Traffic Rules, is regulated by a separate document “Rules for the organized transportation of a group of children by bus.”

22.9. Transportation of children under the age of 7 years in a car and a truck cab that is designed with seat belts or seat belts and an ISOFIX* child restraint system must be carried out using child restraint systems (devices) that are appropriate for the weight and height of the child.

It is prohibited to transport children under the age of 12 on the back seat of a motorcycle.

12.8.
It is prohibited to leave a child under 7 years of age in a vehicle while it is parked in the absence of an adult.

Requirements for child car seats

The first thing parents are interested in is at what age can a child be placed in a special car seat. If a child does not yet know how to sit on his own, then how can he be seated, even in a special chair? Until the moment when the child is able to sit steadily, he must be carried in the arms of his mother, or father, if the mother is driving a car. But in any case, child car seats must be selected correctly, observing the following requirements:

It must be suitable for the child in terms of weight, and his height must also be taken into account - if it is small, then it will simply be impossible to fit in it, and the head will hang, this will cause significant inconvenience.
In the store, you should carefully check the performance of all components, and especially the reaction of the belt assembly to sudden braking - it should react almost instantly and firmly grasp the baby’s body.
There is no need to purchase too cheap models; they usually perform all their main functions poorly, and serve only for beauty; they will not be able to protect against a sharp shock on the road in time.
If you put your baby to sleep in a special device such as a cradle, you should turn off the automatic deployment of airbags, or act as the instructions indicate.

Traffic rules do not establish strict restrictions on the transportation of children under 12 years of age in the front seat, so even the child himself can be transported so that the mother driver can always monitor the condition of her child.

When choosing a child seat, pay attention to the age group to which it belongs; it is also important to pay attention to the length of the back support; it must be suitable for height.

Pay attention to the number of attachment points - the safest seats are those that need to be installed in the middle of the back row of adult seats. Usually only the rear has an automatic fastening mechanism of the IsoFix type; on the front it is completely absent.

It is also important to make sure that the selected item will exactly fit the fasteners of your car; you can make preliminary measurements and check with those installed in the car.

If your child is about 10 years old, then in other cases you can transport him without a seat, but in this case boosters must be installed in the car, that is, pillows that quickly inflate at the slightest push from the car with an obstacle.

Transporting children in a car without a special child seat is a violation of traffic rules, and in accordance with the Administrative Code, the driver can be fined 3,000 rubles.

The same requirements apply throughout Europe; children simply must be transported according to special rules.
